Happy New Year
Welcome 2022! We, the Greater Ashland Lions wish you all the best of Health. Thank You to all our supporters during the past year, whether it was donating used glasses, purchasing a Wreath, attending a function or giving us a monetary contribution – we appreciate you! Our club is anticipating a productive year with new and entertaining functions for all to enjoy.
Peace Poster Contest
Congratulations to all students who participated in The Lions Club International Peace Poster held at the Ashland Middle School in November. This was the 34th year that our Lions Clubs have participated and the topic this year was “We Are All Connected”
Youth Speech Contest
The contest between the Ashland Lions and the Greater Ashland Lions was held in December. The contest was done virtually and the winners will be announced at a later date. The topic this year: “Why is Accountability Important?”. This is the opportunity for students to demonstrate their speaking ability in the presence of an audience. Coat Drive
Thank You again for the generosity and overwhelming support of donations to our 10th Annual Coat Drive. We will be accepting your donations until the January 8th deadline. We are grateful for the DROP OFF Locations: Shear Perfection, Ashland Town Hall, Ashland Community Center and the Rogue at the Mindess School. We appreciate the partnership and efforts of Anton Cleaners for their endless support each year, along with their staff, cleaning each article of clothing and donating it back to the local community for those in need. Quiz Night
Do you know 8 people? Create a Team and reserve a table now for an evening of TRIVIA fun and learning. On January 15th, 2022, at 7pm at the Ashland VFW Hall marks our club’s 27th year hosting our QUIZ night. Tickets are $20 per person. Light snacks will be provided (no outside food is allowed).
