ABA Reports Growth in 2021
Committed to growing and serving its members, the Ashland Business Association (ABA) works closely with the town and partners with many local organizations and community groups.
“Our organization is growing in numbers and influence. We are happy to report that we added 25 new members in 2021,” Adam Sachs, ABA president, said. “The ABA board also welcomed several new board members—Valerie Gaines, At Peace Reiki; Paul Netopski, Critical Prism Defense; and Peter Waisgerber, Metrowest YMCA—as well as new members to our committees—Dennis Ahern, Agostinelli, Teller & Ryan Insurance Agency; Marty Garvey, The Car Vault; and Sentie Kironde, Sentie’s Kitchen.”
“Communications and marketing are important to us and our members. We work to keep members informed of news, events, business opportunities, and legislation that may impact them and promote them through social media and print, such as Ashland Local Town Pages,” Sachs noted.
Giving back to the community is also important to the ABA. The group is awards two $1,500 scholarships each year to high school seniors residing in Ashland, donates to the Ashland Emergency Fund, and participates in community activities, such as the high school’s Reality Fair to teach graduating seniors real-world skills.
In 2022, the ABA will mark 30 years since its founding in 1992. For more information, visit ashlandbusinessassociation.com.
