After 16 years with Ashland Public Schools, Director of Nutrition Services, Lisa Beaudin announced in December that this school year would be her last. Since then, the district has searched for a successor and is excited to announce Regina Wilkinson will be the next director of nutrition services.

Since 2016, Wilkinson has served as an administrative assistant in the district’s nutrition services department. She has 20 years of K-12 experience, along with additional culinary employment in New York, Boston and Japan. Most recently, she served as a high school kitchen manager for Westwood Public Schools. She has an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America and a Certificate in Excellence in Child Nutrition from Framingham State University.

 “Over the last 20 years working in K-12 school nutrition services, I have partnered my passion for cooking good healthy food with the day-to-day operation of running a successful food service program. What we do as a department – as a team – is an important part of each student’s day. If Ashland “Clockers” eat good, healthy food,  they are ready to learn. Moreover, when they do not, countless studies show the adverse effects of an unhealthy diet. I am proud to say that the Ashland School Nutrition Program feeds the whole child to make them great learners that can engage and learn,” said Ms. Wilkinson.

Ms. Wilkinson is excited to continue bringing her passion for cooking and food into her new role beginning July 1.
