Classic and Antique Cars Roll in to Ashland for 10th Annual Kidde Fenwal American Cancer Society Car Show
Cars started pulling in early to get a prime spot at the Kidde Fenwal Car Show on September 9.
Despite an overcast day and potential rain in the forecast, Ed Rose and Peter Kamitian decided at 5 AM that the car how must go on as planned.
“Luckily the rain held up and although our numbers were impacted by the weather, we still had 225 cars and trucks attend the event,” said Kamitian.
The show raised about $18,000 for American Cancer Society, through car entrance fees, donations from spectators and a record 60 sponsors, comprised of mostly local businesses.
“I would like to thank each and every sponsor and especially our top three sponsors; Mike’s Collision, Stanley Black and Decker and Middlesex Savings Bank, without whom we would not have raised $18,000, our highest total ever” said Kamitian.
