Menorah Lighting
The Sha’arei Shalom community held a menorah lighting last month in Montenegro Square, marking the annual Hanukkah celebration.
The synagogue purchased a menorah several years ago and have been hosting this community menorah lighting every year in Montenegro Square in Downtown Ashland.
Town Manager Michael Herbert conveyed his heartfelt appreciation for the annual Menorah Lighting organized by Temple Sha’arei Shalom. Through the town’s social media channels, Herbert expressed gratitude to Rabbi Craig and President Carolyn Fertig for their efforts in orchestrating a remarkable program. He emphasized the Town of Ashland’s continual enthusiasm for endorsing and actively participating in events that underscore and celebrate the rich cultural diversity within the community.
