Record Number Of Vehicles Attend KiddeFenwal American Cancer Society Car Show
The weather couldn’t have been better, bringing to Ashland a record number of vehicles to the 11th annual Car Show on Sept. 14.
“The cars and trucks kept coming and coming, I knew quite early on that we were going to surpass all records for attendance”, said Peter Kamitian. The show raised over $21,000 for American Cancer Society with close to 350 vehicles in attendance.
“I would like to thank all our sponsors and volunteers who helped efficiently register and direct cars onto the field, a true challenge with so many people and vehicles arriving throughout the morning. Additionally, let me add a shout out to all the volunteers behind the scene who collected donations from spectators and/or were involved in the issuing of a record amount of awards given to cars,” commented Kamitian.
The Show even had it’s first lemonade stand which raised over $400 for Linclusion a program to facilitate the integration of children aged 3-15 with disabilities into existing summer camps, providing support (one-to-one aides) at NO COST to families.
