December is the last month for Ashland residents to take advantage of discounted pricing for solar and heat pumps as part of the MetroWest Solar + Clean Heat Challenge. The program offers substantial discounts to residents of Ashland, Holliston, Natick, and Framingham until the end of December 2021. The four communities have vetted three companies—ACE Solar (solar panels), New England Ductless (air source heat pumps), and Achieve Renewable Energy (ground source heat pumps)—to install clean electricity heating and cooling.
