Support a Shelf Campaign: Become a Shelf Donor!

The major expense for the new book sale room are the shelves. By purchasing a mix of new and used shelving and using volunteer labor, the Friends of the Library are hoping to equip the room with enough shelves to hold about 5,000 books. The goal is to raise $5,000. Anyone who wants to help with this community effort to improve the book sale experience for shoppers and volunteers can donate to the Friends of Ashland Library. Any size donation is welcome.
Donations can be made on the Friends of Ashland Public Library web site, friendsoftheapl.org/sponsor-a-shelf-donations. The link will direct your donation to this campaign. You can also navigate to friendsoftheapl.org, click the Donate button at the bottom of the home page, and designate “Book Sale Shelves” in the notes section, or directly contact the Friends President Betsy Emberley at [email protected].
